Bianca Censori and Kanye West have been under the spotlight for the past months and not precisely in a good way as a couple of newlyweds, but because they keep engaging in controversial situations that have involved NSFW activities on a boat, and of course, a set of controversial outfits.
Although these outfits aren’t precisely edgy or fashionable, they do have a wow factor, maybe in a negative way. However, we now know these are not random as it’s been reported that behind these provocative looks, there’s an entire team assembled by Kanye West to dress his wife.
Behind Bianca Censori’s Controversial Outfits
According to designers who have worked with Kanye in the past, the polemic musician and self-called genius has an entire atelier in Europe creating each of Bianca’s looks. But these aren’t precisely thought through or designed ahead of time, this team simply “buy tights and style it and cut it on Censori.”
Most of the time, the tights are put on Bianca, and with Kanye’s direction, the team starts cutting and deconstructing the piece to create unique looks. Also, most of the looks are made using upcycled Yeezy outfits.
According to Mowalola Ogunlesi, a fashion designer who worked with West in his Yeezy Gap collab, Kanye works as a creative director and his secret team makes “anything he wants… He’s really just making it on the spot.”
Are these really fashion, is Kanye a genius as he claims? Well, that depends on each individual taste, I guess…
