Kanye West continues to make headlines, and this time it’s not about his music or his relationship with Bianca Censori. The rapper is facing a lawsuit from a former employee of his Donda academy, accusing him of racism, homophobia, antisemitism, and harassment. Nothing surprising from Kanye. 🙄
What Does the Lawsuit Against Kanye Say?
In the filing, the man identified as Trevor Phillips, who worked for two of West’s ventures for nearly a year, alleges that Kanye compared himself to Hitler to the extent of wanting to act like him. He highlighted receiving threats of physical violence and verbal abuse. In addition to praising him on numerous occasions, calling him a “good person”
“Hitler was great. Hitler was an innovator! He invented so many things. Because of him, we have cars.”

He claims that Ye told his students that he wanted to shave them and then lock them up in cages, as well as intimidating staff by threatening to fire them for being “fat.” And that’s not the worst of it. Trevor also recounts that the rapper would put them in a hotel room under the guise of a “one-on-one meeting” to simulate masturbation.
Additionally, Kanye is also said to have expressed his homophobia, warning students that he would pursue the “next” member of the LGBTQ+ community. Phillips, who stopped working for Kanye West in August 2023, is seeking financial compensation of $35,000 for the distress he claims to have suffered with the rapper as his boss.
