Karol g shuts down notion that her success is thanks to a man: someone had to speak up

Karol G has become a true icon of female empowerment who, through her music, has inspired millions of women worldwide to pursue their dreams. However, despite her evident talent, the “bichota” has had to deal, like any woman, with individuals who undermine her achievements by claiming that her success is owed to the men she has been professionally or romantically associated with. It’s not uncommon that when a woman starts shining, people immediately appear to try to overshadow her triumphs without acknowledging the hard work behind them.

So, tired of all the haters, Karol decided to confront them and finally put them in their place, making it clear that her success is not the result of her relationship with her ex. Karol G owes nothing to a man. During her acceptance speech for the Billboard Woman of the Year award, Karol G thanked all those who have always believed in her and recalled how challenging her journey to success has been.

This Is What Karol G Said:

The Colombian artist took the stage to deliver a powerful message, seeking to slap down all those who belittle talented women. “I continue to completely ignore comments like ‘she owes it to him or wouldn’t have made it if it weren’t for…she achieved it because she recorded with this person, she did it because that person gave it to her.’ The eagerness to justify the achievements and successes of a woman,” she mentioned.

There’s no doubt that the “bichota” put all the haters in their place and, in doing so, said what we all think.
