Actress and influencer, Maya Henry, who is also known for being Liam Payne’s ex fiancé, surprised everyone when she announced earlier this year that she would publish her own book called ‘Looking Forward’, which would talk about her own life, including her relationship with the British singer.
She explained that the story is a bit inspired by her relationship with Liam Payne, one of the former members of the boyband ‘One Direction’.

She revealed that Mallory, the protagonist of the story, is very similar to her and that made it easier for her to write the character and put emotion to her story, ‘I’m very grateful to have this opportunity and this platform to be able to be a voice that helps women’ said Maya in an interview.
At no time did the influencer confirm that during her relationship with the ‘Bedroom Floor’ singer she experienced abusive situations, but she did mention other types of problems.
In the book, the protagonist goes through an interruption of pregnancy at the same time as a love breakup, a fact that worried fans of the former couple and although Maya did not claim to have been with Liam when she had an abortion, she did say that she went through a similar situation with a partner.
About Liam specifically, she said that he was very ‘charming, sweet and cute’ when she first met him, she even said that people told her that their relationship seemed like a fairy tale or a movie.
