While there are several factors that suggest Payne’s death may not have been accidental, the only certainty is that the fall was fatal, as the impact caused severe head trauma that made resuscitation impossible.

However, in the hours following the incident, several hotel staff members where Liam Payne was staying have shared unsettling details about the circumstances surrounding his tragic death.
Liam Payne Wasn’t Alone Before His Death
In an interview with the Argentine news outlet Telenoche, a Casa Sur hotel restaurant employee, identified as Miguel, reported that Liam Payne was not alone in the hours leading up to the accident.
The employee stated that in the morning, two women had gone up to the musician’s room, and after a while, they came down to the hotel lobby, refusing to leave until Payne paid them for their services.
The worker also mentioned that Payne’s ex-girlfriend was allegedly staying at the same hotel, as they were seen together throughout the day.

Regarding the singer’s condition, Miguel indicated that around 9 a.m., Liam came down to the restaurant to order two bottles of whiskey and a bottle of sparkling wine, which, considering the time, made him think that something was off.
The last contact the employee had with the singer was around 5 p.m., when Miguel heard Payne causing a disturbance in the lobby. Shortly after, he heard a loud thud in the hotel’s inner courtyard.
