Madonna is back. After being hospitalized for a serious bacterial infection, the singer reappeared on social networks with an emotional message to her fans. The so-called ‘Queen of Pop’ shared a photo to show her followers that she is in better health and to thank them for their affection for her all this time.
“Thank you for your positive energy, prayers, and words of healing and encouragement. I have felt your love. I’m on the road to recovery and incredibly grateful for all the blessings in my life,” reads the statement.
The ‘Material Girl‘ singer opened up and explained that when she finally opened her eyes in the hospital, the first thing that came to her mind were her children, but also what would happen with her tour because she didn’t want to disappoint everyone who had the illusion of seeing her.
“My first thought when I woke up in the hospital was my children. My second thought was that I did not want to disappoint anyone who bought tickets for the tour. I also didn’t want to let down the people who worked tirelessly with me over the last few months to create my show. I hate to disappoint anyone,” she said.

Madonna Announces Changes in the ‘Celebration’ Tour
The singer stressed that for now, her priority is her health and recovery, but without forgetting her fans, that’s why she made some modifications to her ‘Celebration Tour’ while she ‘gets stronger.’ Madonna detailed that the “current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and begin in October in Europe.”
Just like her, we all hope that she will focus on recovering since her life was compromised; even her family admitted that due to her lack of response to what the doctors were implementing, they were preparing “for the worst.”
