We know that this event will be surrounded by controversy, especially because of family crises like the one that ensued between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and the Royal Family.
To add some spice to this gossip, it turns out that Meghan Markle, Harry’s wife, will not attend the important ceremony. Through the official Instagram account of Buckingham Palace, they announced that Harry would be among the attendees, but Meghan Markle would not. From the official statement, they say that “the Duchess of Sussex will stay in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.” But now, sources close to the couple, have revealed to People magazine that there is something else behind this decision.
Although it has been reported that King Charles III is “fine” because of his son’s support, it is clear that everything has become very personal. So we understand that they are not close to reconciliation with Meghan Markle, and the British crown prefers to avoid a tense situation between any of the royal members, so that’s why the former actress will not attend. “Maybe what they wanted was not achieved, but at the end of the day, Harry is going there to support his father,” confirms the magazine from this same source.
Despite both being invited to the ceremony, this will be the first time Harry has attended a Royal Family event since the publication of his memoir titled Spare, in which he revealed family tensions and spoke of feeling “different” from the royals.

The place they have reserved for him is not following his kinship with the king, but that of other aristocrats of high lineage.
