Since joining the royal family, Meghan Markle has been the subject of much discussion, from scandals alleging racism from the Windsors to the Netflix documentary she released with Harry, where they discuss their experience as part of the royal family, the name of their daughter Lilibet (which reportedly angered Queen Elizabeth II because it was her nickname), the couple’s separation from the family and thus from all their royal duties. It seems Meghan came to rebel against the monarchy, and she has done nothing but try to discredit them in the eyes of the public. Relax, Meghan, they can do that on their own LOL.
Speaking of the Netflix documentary, what has recently surprised many is that Meghan’s sister, Samantha, sued her for defamation, claiming that the things MM shared with Netflix are false. The lawsuit was dismissed because, according to the judge, Samantha’s arguments “failed to identify any statements that could support a defamation claim,” and that everything Meghan said in the Oprah interview was true.

Suspiciously, Samantha was asking for $75,000 for defamation because MM told Oprah that she grew up as an only child and that Samantha changed her last name only because Meghan married Harry. Gold digger? Where? One reason Samantha’s argument didn’t hold up is that, how could they be defamatory statements if they don’t even reference her? It makes perfect sense…
Meghan Markle and Samantha Rasmussen
According to the Daily Mail, Meghan Markle and Samantha did have a close relationship. Samantha helped MM with her homework, but as Meghan started to succeed in TV, they gradually drifted apart, and they stopped seeing each other in 2016.

They both share the same father, but Meghan has drawn a line between them and distanced herself from her family, which we have also seen since Meghan began her public life, specifically since she got engaged to Harry.
