Speaking of peculiar occurrences, last Wednesday, Michael Jackson’s three children made a joint appearance on the red carpet of MJ: The Musical amidst an ongoing legal battle against their grandmother, Katherine Jackson, over the late King of Pop’s estate.
Paris, Prince, and Blanket posed together on the red carpet for the press night performance of MJ: The Musical at the Prince Edward Theatre in London. The two boys were dressed in black suits, though their style was very casual and relaxed, while Paris wore a beautiful brown dress, reminiscent of rust, with straps crossing her chest.

This unusual appearance came just after Michael’s youngest son filed a request to prevent his paternal grandmother, Katherine, from using Michael’s estate money to fund her ongoing legal battle. Initially, Blanket agreed with Katherine when they confronted the executors of his father’s estate, but he changed his mind after a judge sided with the executors regarding the use of the singer’s money for an undisclosed business deal, believed to be the $600 million catalog deal with Sony.

Later, Katherine explained that the executors of her late son’s estate have plenty of cash to cover their legal fees worth $500,000 and, therefore, they should do so.
“… it seems clear to [Katherine] that the Executors are holding all of the assets in the Estate in order to keep control over them, and to avoid the more liberal distribution requirements of the Trust,” her complaint reads, according to People.
“the Executors cannot in good faith contend that the Estate does not have sufficient available funds to allow the Trust to make the requested payment” and that “hundreds of millions of dollars” would still be available to the estate’s beneficiaries if Katherine’s legal expenses were covered.

According to a court filing on March 21, Michael Jackson’s estate stated that Katherine had been given more than $55 million since the Grammy winner’s passing in 2009 and had sufficient funds to pay for her legal expenses, as reported by TMZ. The filing claimed that the family matriarch had received over $33 million in cash through a monthly allowance of $160,000.
