YouTube’s most subscribed personality MrBeast, known for his viral challenges, over-the-top competitions and his million-dollar “philanthropic” endeavor, is now facing serious legal trouble. The 26-year-old influencer, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, and Amazon are defendants in a class-action lawsuit filed by contestants of his upcoming reality competition show, Beast Games, slated for Prime Video.
MrBeast is Accused of Sexual Harassment

The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on September 16, 2024, accuses MrBeast of multiple offenses, including sexual harassment, chronic mistreatment, and failure to provide a safe working environment. Five unnamed contestants, who participated in the show, are at the forefront of the suit. They allege that they were subjected to degrading conditions during filming, including emotional distress, unsafe conditions, and even sexual misconduct.
The allegations have shaken the image of MrBeast, who has built his brand around using his wealth to fund “charitable acts” like building schools and providing clean water. The lawsuit, however, paints a starkly different picture of the environment on the set of Beast Games, where participants reportedly faced a range of abuses.

The Horrifying Behind the Scenes of Beast Games
Beast Games, described as thith a $5 million prize, involves 1,000 participants competing in extreme outdoor conditions. According to the lawsuit, contestants experienced chronic mistreatment, including long hours without meal or rest breaks, exposure to dangerous conditions, and failure to pay minimum wages and overtime.
The lawsuit also alleges that some contestants were deprived of basic hygiene and medical care during the competition. While parts of the complaint remain redacted, including key details about the sexual harassment claims, the document makes it clear that female participants endured particularly hostile working conditions.

One of the anonymous plaintiffs, a female contestant, shared her experience: “I joined the show as a fan of MrBeast, but what I experienced was far from what I expected. We were treated like less than nothing, especially the women. It was a degrading and hostile environment.”
The lawsuit not only targets MrBeast and his production company but also names Amazon, which is distributing the show, and Off One’s Base LLC, an independent production firm, as co-defendants. The plaintiffs are seeking compensation for unpaid wages, damages for emotional distress, and punitive damages for the mistreatment they endured.
Lead counsel for the plaintiffs, Robert Pafundi, emphasized the severity of the allegations, saying, “Participants were promised compensation for their work, but what they faced was extreme neglect, harassment, and inhumane conditions. The defendants will be held accountable.”
As the lawsuit unfolds, it could have serious implications for MrBeast’s career and his partnership with Amazon. The show’s release date has yet to be announced, and with these allegations now public, it remains unclear how the scandal will affect its debut.
MrBeast has yet to publicly comment on the lawsuit, and Amazon has not responded to requests for comment. The full extent of the allegations remains to be seen, but one thing is clear: the lawsuit could mark a major turning point for both MrBeast and the future of Beast Games.
