Prince William, next in line for the British throne, and his wife Kate Middleton have been going through some rough patches lately. It all kicked off last March, just before Easter, when the princess dropped a bombshell in a public video, revealing she’s battling cancer.
The news hit the UK like a ton of bricks, dominating headlines for weeks as everyone couldn’t stop talking about the Princess of Wales’ health. After her January surgery, the heir’s missus vanished from the public eye for a good stretch, sparking all sorts of conspiracy theories. Some even went as far as suggesting she’d kicked the bucket on the operating table.
Now that things have calmed down, People Magazine revealed that a royal insider stated Prince William was ‘really pissed‘ about the gossip and conspiracy theories surrounding his wife’s health.
According to the spokeperson, Prince William is prioritizing his work and isn’t paying much attention to social media.
This statement follows numerous expressions of concern from royal watchers online regarding The Princess of Wales, who has made only one public appearance since being hospitalized in January.
“She’s doing well” in a rare health update regarding her cancer diagnosis.
Staff asked William about his wife on Friday during his visit to St. Mary’s Community Hospital in the Isles of Scilly, off the coast of Cornwall, in southwest England.
“William is tenacious and sometimes stubborn. That, coupled with his focus on family life, will give him the backbone and strength to overcome this,” -the source assured the outlet.
So far, details about Kate’s health have been slowly leaking out, mostly thanks to media snoops. In a statement, the princess said that she and William had been “doing everything under the sun to handle this privately for the sake of their young family.”
Lately, the future king made it clear that his wife “is hanging in there” when pressed about Kate’s health. However, a close friend and designer responsible for dressing the princes’ children, stated that the couple “was going through hell” following the cancer announcement.
Amidst William’s wife’s health condition, the press has reported that the Prince of Wales has no intention of reconciling with his brother Harry, as his priority is Kate.
