Samantha Davis, wife of actor Warwick Davis known for his role in Harry Potter, passed away at the age of 53. Warwick has now paid tribute to her, stating that she was his favorite person in the world. They were married for 30 years and have three children together.
According to the Daily Mail, the actor shared that in 1991, the couple lost a newborn baby named Loyd, which was a devastating experience he wouldn’t wish upon anyone, as it’s something one never fully recovers from.

Warwick has described Samantha as the person he trusted the most and a great support throughout his career. He mentioned feeling like he could be anything with her by his side, and he always felt empowered with her.
“She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life. She had a wicked sense of humor and always laughed at my bad jokes,” Davis added.

Samantha Davis will surely be remembered as the wonderful person she was, and her family doesn’t hesitate to express how amazing she was. Their children, Harrison and Annabelle, said
“her love and happiness carried us through our whole lives. Mum is our best friend, and we’re honored to have received a love like hers.”
Warwick shared that Samantha’s mobility had been deteriorating in recent years, but she was always determined not to let it stop her from living. He mentioned how difficult it was to see someone you love suffer and fight against illness while being confined to a bed. The somewhat comforting aspect of this story is that Warwick and their children bid Sam farewell before she passed away. Sam had several health crises throughout her life; sources say she had a brush with death in 2019 when she fell ill with sepsis before a family vacation.

Samantha Davis’s Acting Career
Samantha Davis was also an actress, though there were instances where she didn’t receive proper credit for her performances. In the 1988 film Willow, she went unrecognized, and her name doesn’t appear in the credits. And although it might be hard for many Potterheads to admit, the production of the famous wizard saga was also unfair to Sam. She participated as a goblin in the film Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, which was filmed in 2011, but her name never made it to the credits.
