Fans all over the world joined Pawn Stars host Rick Harrison and his family in mourning his son Adam Harrison. The reality series star shared the sad news of the passing of his son last Saturday on social media revealing that the cause of death was drug related.
On Saturday 20, Adam Harrison’s rep informed that he had passed off a “fatal overdose,” and said that Las Vegas Metropolitan police were already investigating the case. The family shared a message to media outlets that read: “Our family is extremely saddened by Adam’s death. We ask for privacy as we mourn his loss.”

Later on, Rick Harrison posted a photo of him and his son on Instagram with an emotional caption: “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam. 💔” But as a couple of days have gone by, the family has decided to give more details on their devastating loss, aiming to raise awareness of a terrible crisis ailing the country.
This Monday, Rick Harrison’s spokesperson added that the pawn shop owner’s 39-year-old son, “died from a fentanyl overdose.” The statement given to Page Six also added that Harrison is concerned by the fentanyl crisis in the US and pleads with authorities and citizens to take it “more seriously.”
“It seems it is just flowing over the borders, and nothing is being done about it. We must do better.” Last year, the number of fentanyl-related deaths spiked in the US becoming a really serious issue that both Mexican and American governments haven’t been able to resolve.

Who Was Adam Harrison?
Adam Harrison was the second son of Rick Harrison, famed host of Pawn Stars. He was 39 years old, and unlike Corey and Jake, he preferred to keep a low profile on social media and television. Although very little was known about him, it was certainly a great loss to the Harrison family, who had already lost “the Old Man” Richard Benjamin Harrison, a couple of years ago.
