Simone biles addresses controversy with husband jonathan owens

Once again, the Call Her Daddy podcast has stirred up controversy as people on social media are attacking Green Bay footballer Jonathan Owens for allegedly stating that his wife Simone Biles is not the catch just as he is.

It all started when Jonathan had an interview that went viral on The Pivot podcast where he said he was a better catch than seven-time Olympic champion Simone Biles, while she was present during that interview. However, Simone later came out to defend him on the Call Her Daddy podcast, saying he never referred to that when his explicit words were, “I always say that the man is the catch.”

She said that after leaving her husband’s interview, she was completely normal and happy, but later when she looked at social media, she realized everyone hated her husband. So, on Wednesday’s episode of Call Her Daddy, Simone explained that Owens never said she wasn’t the catch, that he only referred to himself as the catch, which she agrees with because “he truly is, and she assures that she has never met a man like him.”

“He said he was a catch,” Simone exclaimed. “Because he is! I’ve never met a man like him.”

Simone biles says the backlash from husband's viral interview 'really hurt'

Simone later admitted that although the situation seemed funny at first, it hurt her feelings afterward because the people commenting on social media don’t know him, and there is no valid reason for them to speak about her husband in that way because he is a sweet guy who would never do anything to hurt her.

Internet Users Are Recommending That Simone Biles Divorce Owens

Although many internet users are recommending that Simone divorce the football player, it seems they will continue in the relationship, which is stronger than ever. It appears Owens is trying to get out of the summer training season to support his wife at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

“I thought everything was OK, and then I go on Twitter and everybody’s like, ‘Divorce this man. He’s mean!’” Biles recalled. “I’m like, ‘He’s the sweetest. He praises the ground that I walk on.’ Truly, I’ve never met a man like him … he truly goes out of his way to do anything for me.”

Simone hopes this experience will be very helpful for Owens’ ego because, according to her, football is much more difficult than gymnastics. She hasn’t seen the movie “The Game Plan” with The Rock, because they completely debunk that.
