In the middle of the divorce trial and after several days of mediation, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas released a joint statement where they had reached an amicable agreement for the custody of their two daughters, Willa, 3 years old, and Delphine, 1 year old.
It was this Tuesday, October 10 that court documents were released in which the couple affirms that they will reach an amicable resolution and will be in joint custody of their daughters. The custody plan will be released on January 7, 2024; however, some documents that were leaked show how they will divide the days to have the girls equally.
How Will the Temporary Custody Happen?
According to the official documents, the custody schedule of both Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas was revealed, where each one will have a specific period to be with the girls, this is how they will share custody:
Sophie Turner has custody of her two daughters from October 9, 2023, until October 21, 2023. She will then regain custody of Willa and Delphine from November 2, 2023, until November 22, 2023. The girls will then return to her from December 16, 2023, through January 7, 2023. During the time Sophie has custody, she will be allowed to travel with them to the United States or the United Kingdom.
On his hand, Joe Jonas will have custody of his daughters from October 21 until November 2, 2023. He will then have them again from November 22, 2023, until December 16, 2023.
They will do back-and-forth exchanges with the two girls and already have a joint agreement. As for the vacations, because Joe Jonas will have his daughters from November 22 to December 16, 2023, he will have them for the Thanksgiving break. He will then hand the children over to Sophie on December 16, 2023, which means she will have full custody of them during the Christmas and New Year’s Eve vacations.
However, the final resolution is expected to be announced, but it seems that this organization of the last 3 months of the year will be how they will end up sharing custody of both little girls, more details will be given later.
