One of the most beloved programs for everyone is ‘Blue’s Clues’, where Steve Burns stars alongside the friendly Blue, a puppy with blue spots, and all their friends. After all that we’ve heard about what was happening behind the doors of Nickelodeon, it’s strange to think that such lovely shows like Blue’s are part of the horror network, but it’s the only hope it gives us, knowing that amidst so much garbage and darkness there were also good people.
After the release of the documentary series ‘Quiet on Set’, many celebrities from the industry came out to give their testimonies about what had happened within Nickelodeon. Some showed their support, others said that even though they didn’t experience that hell, they were on the side of the victims, etc. This was the case of Steve Burns, who mentioned that he had nothing to do with what happened with Dan Schneider because his show wasn’t even filmed in LA like all the others, but rather he was in NY.

Steve commented that although he wasn’t close to the events, it’s heartbreaking to hear the testimonies of the victims; the actor seems to be in shock, just like many of the stars who have also reacted to the documentary.
“I don’t have any particular insight into any of that. I’m coming to it much the same as anyone else, with horror and heartbreak. It’s just terrible to watch it unfold. I don’t know what else to say, other than that it’s heartbreaking.”
In a recent TikTok, Steve appears asking how people are taking this, as if he were engaging with the audience long before. The video was posted just a few days after the documentary aired.

Quiet on Set Wasn’t the First Voice of the Victims
Let’s remember that some time ago, Alexa Nikolas spoke up about various abuses she had suffered when she was part of the program. She talked about the mistreatment by Jamie Lynn Spears and Britney (who later apologized), among other things, but generally, people didn’t pay much attention to her. Like Alexa, many children suffered behind the doors of Nickelodeon, and although there were also people who had a good time working for the network, the past, the abuses, and the outrage cannot be denied.
