Another Nickelodeon actor has broken the silence on the workplace environment at the television network, and it was none other than Kenan Thompson. You probably remember Kenan for his roles in shows like Kenan & Kel or The Good Burger; he’s an icon of the 90s and early 00s series, whose comedy has left a mark on an entire generation. The All That actor spoke out regarding Investigation Discovery’s new documentary, ‘Quiet on Set’, which discusses the abuses many actors suffered during productions.
Kenan Speaks Out About the Abuses at Nickelodeon
According to Page Six, Kenan mentioned that all those horror stories in the Nickelodeon hallways took place right after he left, so he doesn’t consider himself a witness to what happened to his peers like Drake Bell, but it’s very shocking to realize everything so many years later.
“It’s supposed to be a safe place you know? It’s supposed to be a safe place for kids and to hear all about that it’s just like, ‘How dare you?’”

During Kenan’s time at Nick, the monster Dan Schneider wasn’t as involved in All That as he was in other iconic shows like Zoey 101 or The Amanda Show.
“Dan wasn’t really on ‘Kenan and Kel’ like that,” he explained. “I mean, he got a ‘created by’ credit but it was a different showrunner, so our worlds weren’t overly overlapping like that outside of ‘All That’ necessarily. … It’s tough for me because I can’t really speak on things that I’ve never witnessed.”

After all the scandals came to light, Dan Schneider decided to issue a public apology, however, not many people were convinced since the irreparable damage had already been done.
