After making her relationship with Travis Kelce official, the world has gotten a new-found interest in the iconic American Sport, and now it seems the upcoming Super Bowl will definitely break all ratings records with people wanting to see Taylor Swift on screen.
This weekend, Travis Kelce‘s Kansas Chiefs won their place at the Super Bowl and will face San Francisco’s 49 in the epic annual match. For months now, Taylor Swift’s fans have been calculating how could she attend the biggest sporting event in the country since she will be taking her Eras Tour to Japan just that week.
Now that it’s official that Travis has the chance to win the Super Bowl for the third time, it’s very likely that Taylor will take her fans’ traveling schedule to make it happen. I mean, it would be the 13th match she attends, and if we know something about Taylor, is that this number is definitely special!
How Can Taylor Swift Attend the Super Bowl?
Let’s be honest, this won’t be easy. More importantly, we can say it would be morally questionable (considering that Taylor was crowned the worlds biggest polluter of the year). But it’s not impossible. Taylor will be performing the last of four shows in Tokyo, Japan right on Saturday, 10. Since her shows usually take from three to four hours, she’s expected to end the concert by 10 pm on Saturday.
Now, Japan is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, which means she will be done with her show at about 5 am, Las Vegas time (where the Super Bowl will be held). Now, let’s consider that it takes from 11 to 12 hours to fly from Tokyo to Las Vegas. Assuming Taylor Swift has her own private jet, we can presume she’s not very much dependent on tight flying schedules, nor does she have to take a long time going through security. If she flies right away after her show she can perfectly land in Vegas by Saturday night and still have some time to rest for the big day the day after.
Whether she wants to take all the trouble is still a mystery. I mean, it was exhausting even typing it only; and we have to consider that she has to travel to Australia for the next leg of her tour that starts that Friday after the Super Bowl. But, then again, it’s such a milestone in her boyfriend’s career that we can assume she will take the trouble to join him!

Considering the attention that the couple has gotten, commercial airlines have taken the opportunity to join the trends by making themed flights for the Super Bowl weekend! For instance, American Airlines renamed their Kansas City to Las Vegas flight for the weekend; this is flight number 1989, making a nod to Taylor’s iconic album and both, Travis and Taylor’s birth year. The return flight number is 87, honoring Kelce’s jersey number.
Not only that, Swifties are already planning their Super Bowl outfits as they did for the Eras Tour and are even considering making friendship bracelets with Kelce’s jersey number to exchange at the match or their Super Bowl gatherings!
So yes, sorry Usher, but no one has generated that much expectation as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at this Super Bowl. You’ll have to take the extra length to make your halftime show presentation memorable because it’s likely that social media will only focus on the power couple.
