Drake has been a hot topic lately ever since Kendrick Lamar dropped “Not Like Us,” a track where he, among other things, accused the rapper of pedophilia, sparking a huge reaction.
Though Lamar didn’t say names, the internet went into overdrive, resurfacing an old interview where Millie Bobby Brown, the star of Stranger Things, talked about the strange friendship she had with Drake when she was just 14 and he was 32.
Indeed, in the past, Drake acknowledged having a very close friendship with the actress. However, the video of Millie revealing several details about the conversations she had with the Canadian proved somewhat unsettling.
The Messages Drake sent to Millie Bobby Brown
In 2018, Millie Bobby Brown gave a brief interview to Access Hollywood, where, at just 14 years old, she explained that she and Drake had a “nice friendship,” so close that they would text each other daily.
Millie detailed that on several occasions, the rapper would tell her he missed her, something she didn’t find strange at all, considering the level of trust they had. She viewed all those gestures as expressions of affection.
However, Bobby Brown also shared that they talked about practically everything, from their careers to their relationships, as the singer even used to give her advice to “protect” her from boys.
But the communication between Millie and Drake didn’t just stay in the digital realm. On several occasions, they even went out together. For instance, once the famous rapper invited her to dinner at a restaurant in Sydney.
