What starts badly, has few chances of ending well, and that seems to be what’s happening with the marriage of Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell. Let’s remember that their relationship began at the same time Dominic was involved with Noah Cyrus (Tish’s daughter and Miley’s sister), and they were maintaining a friends-with-benefits relationship. It was then that Dominic started dating her mother, while she was aware of the relationship he had with her daughter. Now, Tish and Dominic are working on their supposed astrological incompatibility.
Tish Cyrus and Dominic Purcell’s Marriage
Recently, Tish and Dominic got married and claimed they loved each other. Obviously, Noah didn’t attend the wedding, creating a gap between Tish and her daughter. Although it wasn’t a formal relationship, it has been commented several times that Noah and Purcell did see each other, and Tish was aware of this situation. Now that they are supposedly a happy couple, it has come to light that there is an astral gap between them causing problems in their daily lives.
Tish has mentioned that marital problems stem directly from their personalities, as she is a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, totally incompatible signs.
“I was so scared when I first met Dom, my husband, which was not that long ago,” she quipped. “But it is crazy because I am a Taurus and he is an Aquarius, and every single thing I read said, ‘Don’t even do it. It is the absolute worst pairing.’”
Being a true Taurus, Tish mentioned that she tends to take things very personally and that Purcell is very direct when he speaks, and not at all warm.
“I was an only child, I was adopted, so I was coddled a lot. So I kind of have needed that. But that’s just not who he is. He is not emotional,” said Tish. “And that could be a problem. But you know what, this is where I’ve grown, is like, I just feel like instead now of me getting so offended, because I respect and love him, that we have conversations. And instead [of] getting so upset and heated about it, and me not taking it personally, just letting him have an opinion. I’ve never been good at that.”
“These are definitely issues. But issues also, because I love him, that I’m dealing with.”
Tish Cyrus also mentioned that the relationship has grown a lot since they got married and that he truly empowers and encourages her in everything.
“He is just like, ‘You’re the funniest, you’re the prettiest, you’re the sweetest, you’re the this — just show the world who you are,’ ” she said. “It has just empowered me in such a way that I’ve never felt before. It’s just been really great for me.”
In an episode of the Call Me Daddy podcast, Cyrus confessed that the relationship started with a simple DM on Instagram, and it was very close to her divorce from Miley and Noah’s father, Billy Ray Cyrus. Also, according to People magazine, he assured that from the beginning he had a great crush on the Cyrus matriarch… so why did he get involved with the daughter? Tish commented that she was indeed aware of the love triangle between her daughter, herself, and Dominic, which makes it even more murky.
“Noah and Dominic were seeing each other in a friends-with-benefits way, off and on. They stopped seeing each other and then Tish started something up,” the source said. “Tish knew he had been seeing Noah.”
According to People, “Tish never gave Noah the chance to talk about all of this before they got married.”
