This past Sunday, fans rejoiced to see the rumors come true after Taylor Swift was spotted at the Arrowhead Stadium to see Travis Kelce play. As the days went by, details about this public outing have come out including how Kelce rented an entire restaurant to hang out with the “Cruel Summer” singer.
Although a lot has been revealed since we now have a first-hand account of the dream date Travis Kelce spoke about the magical day with his brother Jason Kelce on their shared podcast New Heights. The episode dropped early today and although Jason tried to avoid the subject, eventually he caved in and asked his brother for some tea!
“We’ve been avoiding this subject out of respect for your personal life. But now we gotta talk about it,” said the Philadelphia Eagles player. With his classic good mood, Travis simply joked replying: “My personal life that’s not so personal. I did this to myself, Jason. I know this.”
Eventually, he spoke about Taylor and thanked her for accepting his invitation to the game, especially considering that the eyes of the world and the media are upon her and their alleged relationship. “Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Travis added.
“We script it all ladies and gentlemen,” joked Travis, as rumors also claim this is nothing but a PR move. However, Travis also added that she looked amazing and that all his close friends and family loved sharing some time with Taylor during and after the game. It was a “game I’ll remember. That’s for damn sure.”
Naturally, Jason Kelce made the question we’ve been all asking for the past weeks, is Kaylor a thing? Is it official? Sadly, Travis was a gentleman and simply replied: “What’s real is that it is my personal life. I want to respect both of our lives.”
What he did mention is that his life has definitely changed as he now describes it as a “roller coaster of life.” Besides the attention on the Internet, the Kansas City player said that there have been changes in his everyday life, including seeing “Paparazzi at my house. S**t like that.” Being with Taylor, even if it’s only a rumor, or things aren’t formal yet, can definitely be life-changing, for better or for worse.
