Zac Efron has broken his silence after being hospitalized following an accident on Friday night in a pool in Ibiza, Spain.
The High School Musical actor took to his Instagram stories to reassure his millions of followers, who were anxious due to the lack of details about the incident.
“Happy and healthy, thanks for the well wishes,” captioned the 36-year-old actor in an image showing him lifting weights while balancing on an exercise ball.
On the same social network, Zac Efron’s friend Caleb Davidge shared a selfie with the actor at the same location in Ibiza.

Efron’s message comes a day after celebrity news outlet TMZ reported on Saturday that the actor had suffered a “minor accident” in the pool, where two people working at the villa pulled him out of the water. He was then taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The star was discharged on Saturday morning.
Meanwhile, the Daily Mail reached out for more details about the accident and why he was taken to the hospital if it was a minor issue; however, the representative reiterated their response and provided no further information, stating that the hospital visit was “just a precaution.”
Various entertainment outlets report that before the incident, the Disney teen star was seen with Dutch DJ Martin Garrix on stage during one of his shows. It is known that the actor is in Europe taking a well-deserved vacation after finishing his latest projects.
