But wait, this is just the beginning. The series is actually an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Renée Knight, a psychological thriller that will have 7 episodes. The first two will be released on the same day, with the rest airing weekly until the grand finale on November 15.

Cate Blanchett Will Lead in This New Series
The series follows a journalist who has made many enemies throughout her career by exposing other people’s secrets and making them public. One day, she receives a mysterious novel and soon discovers that it is based on her own life. She has become the protagonist of her own story and must now confront her past if she wants to continue living in her world of fantasy.
In addition to Cate Blanchett, Alfonso Cuarón’s series will co-star Sacha Baron Cohen, and, as is tradition, the cinematography will be handled by Emmanuel Lubezki, a cinematographer with whom the director has collaborated many times before. It seems this story could become a major drama to close out the year.
