Blake lively might be lying about the birth scene

It seems like Justin Baldoni isn’t the only one who thinks Blake Lively might not be telling the full truth. For months now, the film adaptation of It Ends With Us has been at the center of major drama. Based on the popular novel by Colleen Hoover, the project was supposed to be a powerful romance for the big screen. But instead, it’s become the subject of a serious legal fight between its two lead actors—Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

The Testimony That Just Challenged Blake Lively’s Lawsuit

Adam Mondschein, who played Dr. Dunbar in the movie, just stepped into the conversation—and what he revealed could shake things up. He spoke out about Blake’s recent claims that she felt pressured into partial nudity during the filming of a pivotal birth scene. According to Blake, the environment on set was chaotic, and protections usually in place for nude or semi-nude scenes weren’t respected.

But Mondschein says that’s just not what happened.

According to him, the shoot was handled professionally. He described Lively’s costume as “a hospital gown, black shorts, and a prosthetic that covered her torso”—a setup designed to ensure comfort and privacy. More importantly, he says she never expressed any discomfort or concern while filming.

Inside the Legal Battle Between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni

This whole situation is bigger than one scene. Blake Lively is suing Justin Baldoni for sexual harassment and claims he orchestrated a campaign to ruin her reputation. She also named her co-star’s production company and even her own publicist in the suit.

Baldoni, however, denies everything—and he’s not staying quiet. He filed a counter-lawsuit for defamation and civil extortion, asking for $400 million in damages. He’s also included Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds, in the countersuit.

The case is expected to go to trial on March 9, 2026, and things are getting messier by the day. With co-stars starting to speak out and sides being taken, it’s anyone’s guess how this story will end—but it’s safe to say the drama behind It Ends With Us is far from over.
