One of the most anticipated performances of the VMAs was Sabrina Carpenter‘s and there’s no doubt that she did amazing, but there’s something we hadn’t noticed and Britney Spears did.
During the transition from Taste to Expresso Sabrina had a kiss that not many expected with one of her dancers who played an alien and the truth is that we didn’t understand it very well and Britney even less.
Britney Spears’ Reaction on Sabrina’s VMAs Performance
After the awards event Britney Spears shared her very honest reaction to the situation on social media.
“Why is she kissing an alien on stage? I adore her, I love her to death… Why didn’t she kissed a girl? Like, that was weird”
She also gave us to understand that she hadn’t understood the whole concept very well, however, after thinking about it for a while and taking a shower, she came to the conclusion that there was nothing wrong.
I also thought that like the whole thing was kind of, like, weird altogether. But after watching that, I took a really long bath and I am actually coloring right now…”

Anyway, even if we don’t fully understand Sabrina’s concept and the reasons behind kissing an alien on stage, we know that she did it perfectly with or without a kiss.
