Messi, the famous Border Collie from the multi-award-winning drama “Anatomy of a Fall,” grabbed attention at the Oscars and will now star in a series at the Cannes Film Festival.

Yes, just as you read it! this adorable dog continues to triumph, and proof of this is that he will have his own show in Cannes, through which we will be able to experience the festival “through the eyes and voice of Messi.”

The series will consist of eight episodes, each lasting one minute, and will be broadcast on several television channels in France during the festival, which will start on May 13 and end on May 25.

The idea for the television program came from Tim Newman, and we are completely grateful to him for giving us another opportunity to enjoy the great talent and charisma of the little dog.

Messi the Border: The new promise of Hollywood

The film “Anatomy of a Fall” caused a sensation among the audience, not only because of its plot but also because of Messi, the adorable dog who is part of the cast, playing Snoop.

Messi perrito - messi, the dog from 'anatomy of a fall,' will have his own series!

“Anatomy of a Fall” won the Oscar for Best Screenplay, while Messi won the prestigious Palm Dog Award at the Cannes Film Festival.

This award, given by film critics, highlights the most outstanding canine performances on the big screen.

And it was no wonder, as Messi gave us an outstanding performance in the film, stealing our hearts throughout the film but especially in a scene where his character faces death.

All this was possible thanks to the teamwork between Messi and his owner, Laura Martin Contini.
