Michael J. Fox's Public Appearance in London Sparks Conversation About Parkinson's

Michael J. Fox, the actor who gave life to Marty McFly in the Back to the Future Trilogy, appeared publicly and allowed himself to be photographed by the paparazzi while being mobilized in a wheelchair in his last public appearance in London, England.

The images spread on social networks started a conversation about how different he looks now due to the Parkinson’s disease he has been suffering from for years. During his visit to London, paparazzi captured him being assisted by a wheelchair while being supported by an assistant.

Although the images had a great impact on his fans, the actor did not lose his sense of humor and even posed for photographers with the symbol of peace or victory while giving us a cute smile.

This is not the first time that the star has been seen in a wheelchair, during last year’s BAFTAs he was applauded when he was taken to the stage to announce the winner of Best Film of the Year.

Despite the limitations due to Parkinson’s, the actor has been optimistic in recent years, all thanks to his family, in an interview for People magazine, he opened up about his struggle in retrospect: ‘‘You know, my daughter is also going to get married… Good things are happening, and life is good. So it’s been a good year, for sure.”

For his work, in 2022, Michael J. Fox was awarded an honorary Oscar, the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, for his fight against the disease.
