On July 12, the nominees for the Emmy Awards 2023, the 75th edition of television’s highest honor, were announced. The Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled for September 18, but conflicts with the different unions behind the production of the nominated series could change the plans for the ceremony.
Keep in mind that the announcement coincides with a deadline to avoid a strike by more than 160,000 members of the SAG/AFTRA union, film and television writers who have been on strike for more than two months, and the majority of Hollywood productions.
