The special let us know so many things like the Emma Watson and Tom Felton crush, or how Daniel’s parents did not want him to make an audition, but there was a huuuuge mistake many missed at first sight.
While talking about her early memories regarding Harry Potter, Emma Watson revealed that every night, her father read to her and her brother until it became a family thing.
“My dad used to do all the voices, and my brother and I just became obsessed. We would just beg him to keep going” while saying this, a picture of a little girl wearing Minnie mouse ears was shown.
The detail in that photo is that the little girl was not Emma Watson, but rather American actress Emma Roberts.
Fans quickly noticed the mistake and pointed out that the photo was once published by Robert back in 2021 with the caption “Minnie mouse ears!”.
Of course, this mistake became such a topic on social media and HBO Max had to release a statement accepting this error and saying it will be changed as soon as possible, so a new version of the Harry Potter special would be available later on.
