Orange Is The New Black says farewell for good after six long and successful seasons. The most-watched and most critically-acclaimed Netflix series comes to an end after six years, and to be honest, the sneak peek left us with a bittersweet feeling.
Piper Chapman, Alex Vause, Crazy Eyes, and (my favorite Miss Badass) Red say goodbye to the famous show as they come to terms with their time in jail. Singing the famous “You’ve Got Me” by Regina Spektor, we see see Laura Prepon, Taylor Schilling, Kate Mulgrew, Danielle Brooks, Uzo Aduba, Adrienne C. Moore and Dascha Polanco singing the famous intro as they come and go around the set.

Orange Is The New Black is the first series ever to earn nominations for both comedy and drama at the Emmys, and it has received a total of 12 nominations in multiple categories, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, where Uzo Aduba won.

The show’s final season will premiere this summer on July 26th and in it we will see how our favorites characters’ stories get closure: Piper will face the real world after being released from prison last season, Tiffany Doggett “Pennsatucky” will take an exam to earn her high school diploma, and… well, I guess the rest will be for us to see.
