Inside Out 2 has a new character with whom many of us will identify since Riley has already grown up and must face other challenges. It seems that Pixar knows us too well because the second part of this film, captures what it feels like to reach the adolescent stage… because everything changes.
Inside Out 2 Trailer
In the first trailer for Inside Out 2, it shows us the same Riley, but with other problems that welcome Anxiety and yes, it seems that it will ruin everything. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Disgust, and Fear are in the operations center where they balance the young woman’s emotions when suddenly, they realize that there is an orange button. Everyone wonders who it belongs to. Then anxiety appears, represented by a character with crazy hair, bulging eyes, and a big mouth. But that’s not all, it also brings a couple of suitcases, which would be everything that arises when it is present such as insomnia, doubt, stress, depression, etc.
The five emotions that had already found a balance are surprising because it seems strange to talk about a “we”, but those who suffer from anxiety will understand it very well. There are not many details about this film that, by simply seeing the first preview, has already become one of the most anticipated premieres. Director Kelsey Mann announced that Maya Hawke will be the one to voice this new character, who will turn the other emotions on their heads and of course Riley.
“Anxiety, voiced by Maya Hawke, may be new to the team, but she’s not one to stay in the background. That makes a lot of sense if you think about it in terms of what happens inside all of our minds,” she explained.
