This year’s People’s Choice Awards went on fire with all the stunning nominees who attended the event, the amazing speeches that the winners gave, and the extraordinary performances that some artists like Christina Aguilera provided to the audience. Speaking of whom, her performance was any less than perfect.
Christina’s look got the public’s attention because the outfit choice for the song “Dirrty“, that was the definite highlight from the rest of her looks that night.
A gothic genie in a bottle
Aguilera opened her performance singing the one and only song that launched to stardom back when she was 19 years old – “Genie in a Bottle“. For this song, she wore a gothic long black dress that went perfectly with the slow, profound, and intense pace that she decided to give the song this time.
The stunning Dirrty Fit
After a brief intro with “Genie in a Bottle“, the stage went crazy with Christina performing “Dirrty” in a tight outfit clearly inspired by the original from the official music video.
She combined black, yellow, and a little bit of white to create an amazing rebel look; using a great corset top with mesh sleeves and well-adjusted bell bottoms.
Compared to the original outfit from almost 20 years ago that consisted of a black and yellow bikini top with matching cowboy pants; this new modern outfit definitely shows off the breathtaking evolution that the singer has had not only fashion-wise but also in her career and person.
A final Gala look
Following that same color scheme from the amazing last outfit, she dressed herself up in a beautiful yellow gala dress that accompanied the last song that she interpreted in Spanish, called “Somos Nada“.
Definitely, a good bet to close off her performance while looking amazing and leaving the audience open-mouthed after seeing the iconic yellow fit that she revolutionized years ago.
