Coldplay Confirms The Release Of 'Moon Music', Their Most Sustainable Album Yet

The wait is finally over and after three years, the British band Coldplay will release their tenth studio album “Moon Music”. It is scheduled to drop on October 4. This new musical work is produced by the famous producer Max Martin and the first single, “feelslikeimfallinginlove”, will be released this Friday.

Moon Music’s Sustainability

Committed to their fight for the environment, the band has made sure that the release of their next album is as sustainable as possible. In that sense, this will be the first album to be released as a 140 g EcoRecord LP, so each copy will be made with 9 recycled plastic bottles.

The band gave fans a small taste of what is to come on their new album, this Sunday night, at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest; The group performed their new complete song, and minutes after, they shared a fragment of the musical work on social media.

In a statement, the band assured that the first edition of Moon Music will be available in limited units, individually numbered and produced in a “higher specification” than future editions. The album is now available for pre-order, in four physical formats: EcoCD Standard, EcoRecord LP Standard, EcoCD Portable Edition, and EcoRecord LP + EcoCD Portable Edition.

In case of The Notebook Edition (EcoCD and EcoRecord LP), it includes a hardcover book, a copy of the notebook with all the details of the creative process during the development of the album, in addition, it has voice recordings and recording sessions.

“Moon Music” is the follow-up to their ninth studio album Music Of The Spheres, also produced by Max Martin, who has been giving away sneak peeks of the tracks from this new album over the past year.

Problems in Concert in Greece

At a recent concert in Athens, Greece, an attendee tried to go on stage with an Israeli flag, but it ended up crashing to the ground knocking down several lights, which caused concern among the members of the British group.

The man was identified as a comedian known for his controversial jokes about the conflict in Gaza, who had announced on his social networks his intention to hold an act of protest at the show, despite not knowing any Coldplay songs.

After the incident, the man revealed on Instagram that he suffered a rib fracture.
