The Anglo-Albanian singer perfectly captured the Barbie vibe with her music, giving us, probably, one of the best soundtracks of the year.
Dua Lipa’s Song for Barbie
Dua Lipa is a goddess as always, and “Dance The Night” is no exception, a song that is now available on all music platforms. The singer shows us that pink and glitter is never too much, on the contrary, they are not enough.
“Dance The Night” is the lead single from the Barbie soundtrack and in the music video we can see the singer arriving at a film studio where, after a technical mishap, she rehearses a choreography. In one of the scenes, we can read: “Dua Lipa. This Barbie is making a music video.”
A preview of the musical piece had already appeared in the trailer of the film, which made us eager to listen to it all since it raised expectations from the beginning. And we were not disappointed. Dua Lipa herself expressed that she made the song with her friends Mark Ronson, Andrew Wyatt, and Carolina Ailin.
The video for “Dance The Night” closes with an appearance by ‘Barbie’ director Greta Gerwig, who has won awards for films such as Little Women and Lady Bird.
