Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Isn’t So Original After All—She’s Being Sued Over the Logo

Lady Gaga is being sued - Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Isn’t So Original After All—She’s Being Sued Over the Logo

Lady Gaga’s newest era might be full of Mayhem, but not the kind she expected. The pop icon is facing legal trouble, and it’s all because of her latest logo. While fans are gearing up for her highly anticipated tour, a surf brand is claiming Gaga’s branding might not be so original after all.

Lady Gaga Sued Over Alleged Logo Copy

Lady Gaga is currently being sued by Lost International, a surfboard company that says her Mayhem logo looks way too similar to their own. According to the lawsuit, Lost International has been using their trademarked design for over a decade—and they’re not happy about the similarities with Gaga’s new visuals.

The company is seeking damages and an injunction, which means they’re asking a judge to stop Gaga from continuing to use the logo in her album marketing and upcoming tour.

Lost International is no stranger to bold branding. Known in the surfing world for its edgy, rebellious designs, the company specializes in surfboards, apparel, and accessories. Their logo is a big part of their identity—it’s been around for years and is easily recognized by surf enthusiasts worldwide.

They argue that Lady Gaga’s Mayhem logo mimics the bold, dynamic elements of their original design, which they say could confuse consumers and damage their brand.

Gaga’s Mayhem Ball Tour Might Need a Rebrand

The lawsuit couldn’t come at a more intense time for Gaga, who’s just announced her Mayhem Ball Tour. Following the massive success of the album—debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and topping charts across the globe—Lady Gaga is ready to take the show on the road.

The tour kicks off July 16, 2025, in Las Vegas, with 32 concerts across North America and Europe. Major cities like New York, London, Berlin, and Paris are on the list. Notably, Gaga chose arenas over stadiums to keep the shows intimate and dramatic, in line with the album’s electrifying vibe.

She’ll also perform two shows in Mexico City on April 26 and 27, and even has a free concert in Copacabana Beach, Brazil, in May.

But depending on how this lawsuit plays out, Gaga and her team may have to rethink the tour’s visual branding—and fast.

Whether Gaga will have to ditch the Mayhem logo is still unclear. What’s certain is that this legal battle adds an unexpected twist to an otherwise victorious era. One thing’s for sure: Gaga isn’t a stranger to controversy—but this time, it might cost her more than just headlines.
