Life takes many turns and sometimes your worst moment can become a new beginning of success, just as it happened to Miley Cyrus. And after 16 years of career and 8 studio albums, the singer finally managed to win her first Grammy award, which not only became a recognition of her talent but of her entire career.
Led by Mariah Carey, who was the presenter of the Best Solo Performance category, Miley Cyrus managed to take home the award, thus winning the category over artists such as Taylor Swift and Billie Eilish. Cyrus won the award for ‘Flowers’, a song she released in January of last year to open her heart and explain the reasons that caused her separation from actor Liam Hemsworth. The song immediately became an anthem of female empowerment that was celebrated and sung at the top of their lungs by thousands of women around the world.

Miley Cyrus’ Emotional Message Upon Winning the Grammy
Miley Cyrus gave us one of the most beautiful gratitude speeches we have ever heard at the 2024 Grammys, making it clear to us that no matter how difficult it may seem, nothing is impossible. The singer took the stage at the award ceremony to say the following:
“Once upon a time there was a boy who all he wanted for his birthday was a butterfly, so his parents gave him a net to catch them. He was so excited that he went out into the sun to try to catch them, but had no luck. He sat on the ground and finally let go and gave up. He was fine with that, that he wasn’t going to be able to capture that beautiful butterfly, but when he did, the butterfly came and landed on his nose and this song is my butterfly.”
