By now, most of us have seen Disney’s Moana. While it may not top my list of the company’s best films, it holds a special place, especially for the little ones.
Moana follows the journey of a young woman destined to lead her community but yearning to explore beyond the familiar seas. It’s a tale of self-discovery and breaking free from the constraints of tradition. Moana sets sail to uncover her true identity and purpose. Spoiler alert: Upon her return, she introduces changes to her community’s way of life. Initially, I found the movie dull, but on reflection, I realized its resonance with young people navigating self-discovery and challenging societal norms.

In short, the film resonates not only with children but also with young adults shaping their futures and possibly with the parents viewing it from a different lens. Now, onto the matter at hand:
Explicit Lyrics in Moana
The film features several songs woven into the narrative. While some didn’t hit the mark, “I Am Moana” stands out. Social media users claim it contains a hidden message. Take this excerpt, for instance:
“And the call isn’t out there at all
It’s inside me
It’s like the tide
Always falling and rising”
But listen closely, and you might catch a Scottish accent masking a word. According to the internet, instead of “falling,” it sounds like another F-word:
“And the call isn’t out there at all
It’s inside me
It’s like the tide
Always f*cking and rising”
It may seem far-fetched at first, but once you hear it, you can’t unhear it! Can you pick up on the hidden message in Moana’s song too?
By the way, we are very excited to see part two of Moana:
