The Puerto Rican singer Rauw Alejandro has surprised friends and strangers by releasing a new song titled “Hayami Hana” and we are in shock! With it, he publically says goodbye to Rosalía and tells her everything we all want to say when we end a relationship.
He is also very adamant in one part of the lyrics: “I will be many things, but never a cheater,” clearly addressing the rumors on social media about him being unfaithful and causing his engagement to Rosalía to be terminated. Both musicians had been in a stable relationship for three years and were engaged, so the announcement of their breakup left their followers in shock.
What Happened Between Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía?
Much has been speculated about it, but after three years of relationship and being engaged, it was announced last July 26th that Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía had called it quits. In the beginning, nobody understood why the breakup had happened, since everything was perfect in the relationship between both singers.
Sometime after the announcement, statements from third parties began to come out where they assured that the reason had been that Rauw Alejandro had cheated on Rosalía. Rumors of Rauw’s alleged affairs with Colombian model Valeria Duque and singer Camila Cabello came out. However, none of the rumors have been confirmed. Rauw Alejandro released a statement, where he confirmed the separation but strongly denied that it was due to his infidelity.
Rosalía commented on the matter the day after the singer’s statement in a story on her Instagram account, where she only wrote: “I love, respect and admire Raúl very much. Ignore the movies. We know what we have lived. This moment is not easy, so thanks to everyone for understanding and respecting.”
Since then, the topic was still in the air, with speculations of what could have happened, until now.
