“He rocketed to superstardom with a signature brand of música mexicana. Now, can he navigate a new stratosphere of fame? Peso talks about his upcoming album ‘Éxodo,’ the hectic (sometimes tumultuous) side of life in the spotlight, and more. “
The artist stated that his upcoming album, ‘Éxodo’, which will be released this summer, is a direct response to the negative press surrounding him.
“People already saw the good side, the side of superheroes in ‘Genesis’. But I think this year they will get to know a darker side. There will be a lot about why we do what we do and why we sing what we sing, why people pit us against each other, why the media is always looking for bad things, why people focus more on the negative than the positive.”

According to the publication, Peso Pluma does not consider himself a normal person: “Mentally I’m crazy: the ideas I have, the songs we make. But I think madness is part of genius.”
“I also feel a bit fragmented, and it’s part of the multiple personalities I have. My whole team can confirm you that every day, [during] five minutes, I can be the happiest person. Then, in the next five minutes, I turn into something wild”, Peso jokingly remarks. Click the link in the bio to read the cover story and see all the photos.
