Los Angeles continues to battle severe wildfires, with the Pacific Palisades fire being the most dangerous and impactful. To avoid putting anyone at risk, organizers decided to forgo the live nomination event, originally scheduled for Wednesday, January 8, at the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall. Instead, the nominees were revealed digitally.
The SAG Award nomination ceremony was set to feature Fran Drescher, president of SAG-AFTRA, as host, with Kristen Bell as co-host. Actors Joey King and Cooper Koch were scheduled to announce the nominees.
