Did Mexico deserve better? In the 3m synchronized diving final, China won the gold medal and Mexico got the silver one.

Throughout Olympic history, Mexico has excelled in diving, and this year was no exception. They secured the silver medal in the 3m synchronized diving final. While we’d have loved to see them win gold, we congratulate Osmar Olvera and Juan Celaya on this great achievement.

Both Mexican divers put up a strong fight against China, making the final more competitive than expected.

In the end, Long Daoyi and Wang Zongyuan won first place in the category. We congratulate them on their excellent performance and dedication.

Osmar and Juan executed 6 dives that were very close to perfect, undoubtedly putting pressure on the Chinese team, who were impeccable.

After the fourth dive, first place for Mexico seemed within reach, but in the end, China took the gold by just two points.

They accumulated a total of 438.15 points, beating the British duo, Anthony Harding and Jack Laugher, who took the bronze.

This achievement marks the first 3-meter synchronized diving medal for Mexico in Olympic history, making it one of the greatest Mexican accomplishments so far. Their participation is not over yet, as we will also see them compete in the 3-meter springboard diving, this time individually.
