There’s a new dark theory that is making people shocked on social media about ‘The Substance‘ in real life celebrity.
For those who don’t know, ‘The Substance’ is a new satirical body-horror film directed by Coralie Fargeat, starring Demi Moore, Margaret Qualley, and Dennis Quaid.
It is about Elisabeth Sparkle, a former Hollywood star and aerobics show host, who decides to use a black-market drug that temporarily transforms her into a younger, (and much better) version of herself.
The movie has become very popular worldwide as it explores themes of beauty standards, body horror, and the lengths people go to in order to maintain their youth and fame. Not so far-fetched of Hollywood’s reality, right?

Well… there are some theories about who the movie is inspired by, some of them claim that Jane Fonda is the real inspiration for the movie story, which makes sense as the star of the film follows a very similar story as the iconic actress.
However, we’ve talked about that before and although it is really interesting and also very accurate, today we’re going to talk about a much deeper and darker theory.
There are some social media accounts claiming that Madonna may be in the ‘The Substance’ situation but in real life. And we didn’t believe it at first either, but, after looking at the photos, it has been really difficult not to think about the fact that this may be true.
Madonna’s Dark Theory About Her Appearance
As this theory is obviously not a fact, and we can not tell you the exact amount of cosmetic procedures or surgeries Madonna has undergone, what we can tell you is that it’s widely reported that she has undergone more than 12 procedures over the years.
These procedures include facelifts, brow lifts, fillers, lip augmentations, and possibly more. The total cost of these procedures is estimated to be in the multiple six-figure range, so it’s not that accessible to have the resources for such procedures.
Madonna has also faced scrutiny and rumors about her nowadays appearance as she is now 66, but she has also openly discussed her views on aging and beauty, making her a prominent figure in conversations about cosmetic surgery.
