Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice? Despite a 36-year gap between the first and second films, Beetlejuice has become a massive success for Warner. Tim Burton‘s latest release has grossed over $400 million worldwide and captivated a large portion of fans who loved the original.
Most of the cast from the first film returned for the sequel, with the exception of Jeffrey Jones due to past controversies. However, new faces like Jenna Ortega and Monica Bellucci joined the lineup.

Although there was some skepticism about these new additions, the bio-exorcist film has been well-received by both old and new fans. This success has fueled rumors about a potential third installment. The question is, will fans have to wait another 36 years? Michael Keaton has already weighed in on the topic.

Michael Keaton Talks About a Third Beetlejuice Movie
In an interview with E! News at the red carpet premiere of his new movie Goodrich, the star who plays Beetlejuice was asked if he would return for another film.
“Oh yeah, I’d do it every year, yeah.” Keaton responded.

The actor confirmed there’s strong interest from some key figures in the franchise to continue. However, Burton himself has expressed doubts about a third film, as reported by ScreenRant.
On the other hand, producer Tommy Harper has stated that the door remains open for another movie.
“I think with Tim’s love for the title and the characters, the door is open, but we’ll see what happens next,” he says.
Several outlets suggest that if the box office continues to thrive and Keaton and Burton’s enthusiasm persists, a third movie could become a reality.
