One morning in 2022, in Campbell River, Canada, Andrew Dawson was traveling with a friend to work when he glimpsed a humanoid figure on top of a hill. It looked like a person, but much larger. Andrew managed to capture footage of the supposed giant from the moving car and from then on, became obsessed with the case.
He wanted to know exactly what they had seen that day and if it was proof of the existence of supernatural creatures. But sadly, that obsession would be what ended his life.
After the sighting, which occurred in 2022, Andrew spent much of his time trying to prove that he had seen the mysterious “man of the snows”. He returned several times to the scene, but found nothing. He tried to climb to the top of the mountain where he had seen the humanoid, but access was prohibited.

After that, things began to get increasingly strange. Andrew told his acquaintances that, due to his interest in the sighting of the supposed giant, mysterious people began to watch him outside his house and in the places he used to frequent. He assumed they were CIA agents, there because he had seen something he shouldn’t have and not only that: he had also captured it on video.
Andrew was very prolific on TikTok and had openly talked about what he saw in the snow. But one day, he stopped posting for almost a week. When he returned, it was to make a “confession” that the video of the humanoid he captured in the mountains was fake and only made for “entertainment” purposes.
But there was something very strange in his statements. His followers noticed him being nervous, with a very different attitude from what he showed in the rest of his content. Many suspected that Andrew had actually been forced to deny everything.

After that video came an even stranger one. Andrew recorded himself and declared that he was afraid for his safety. He also denied what he had previously said: “You may not see me post again. The videos weren’t fake.”
Despite his fear, Andrew returned to the place where he saw the supposed giant and found a building similar to a military base. That was his last video.
But Andrew did not live long enough to find out more. Days after his last post, he died under mysterious circumstances. His obituary in the Campbell River Mirror says that Andrew Ryan Watchron Dawson was born on November 4, 1987 and died on July 1, 2022. “Beloved husband, father, uncle, brother, and son.”
It may have been a coincidence, but many of his followers believe it had to do with him “knowing too much.” He may have had sensitive information that could prove the existence of things the government seeks to keep secret.
