Jordan Chiles’ Appeal After Being Stripped of the Bronze Medal
Jordan Chiles’ bronze medal could be reinstated following USA Gymnastics’ submission of new evidence to overturn a controversial court ruling.
The International Olympic Committee (IOC) initially demanded the return of Chiles’ medal after a Swiss-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) invalidated an inquiry by her coach that had increased her score, elevating her to third place.

Nevertheless, Jordan has expressed her distress and announced a break from social media for her mental health.
