Over the weekend, the world was horrified by Hamas‘ violent attack on Israel, which left hundreds dead and generated diverse opinions, including that of Mia Khalifa, who, far from condemning the acts, celebrated them. The former adult film actress used her social networks to share her position after the attacks and express her total support for Palestine, although she ended up taking it too far. Well, even though several of the fatalities on Saturday were civilians, Khalifa took the opportunity to make a cruel joke.
Through her X account, before Twitter, the OnlyFans star issued several comments described by users as insensitive, since she even asked Hamas for videos of the attacks.
“Can someone tell the liberators of Palestine to put their phones and film horizontally?” she wrote.
However, the comments did not stop there, as she later commented that she wanted to see 4K videos of “people tearing down the walls of the open-air prison where they have been forced to leave their homes so that we have good options for books of history that talk about how they freed themselves from apartheid.”
And later she even shared a photo of members of the armed group aboard a truck, calling it a “Renaissance painting.”
Mia Khalifa is canceled online
After posting several comments celebrating Hamas‘ attack on Israel, Mia Khalifa received thousands of criticism. Several comments from X users pointed out that regardless of which side you decide to support, the death of innocent people should never be celebrated or glorified. In addition, they suggested that the influencer has much more responsibility with her comments since she is followed by more than 5 million people. Despite the criticism, Khalifa decided not to remain silent, responding that whoever was not on the side of Palestine, then she is on the wrong side of history.
She assured that her support will always be for people who fight against oppression:
“I’m from LEBANON, are you crazy for expecting me to be on the side of colonialism, you damn stranger?”
