In 2012, the Department of Defense shut down a secret program called the Advanced Aerospace Identification Program, known as the AATIP. Unbeknownst to the American people, this program was in charge of pursuing “research and investigation into unidentified aerial phenomenon” and doing so cost around 22 million USD. In 2017, the existence of the program was disclosed to the general public, but by then, if we chose to believe the DOD, the program was long gone. Recently, however, Christopher Sherwood, a spokesperson for the Pentagon has just revealed that the US Government continues to investigate reported UFOs and extraterrestrial sightings.

Nick Pope, a former secret collaborator for the British government told the post this was a “bombshell revelation”, reported the New York Post. The Navy reported a spike in the humber of “highly advanced aircraft” encroaching on its air space. Are we finally going to get the space invaders we’ve been waiting for?
