The famous theoretical physicist, Stephen Hawking, one of the most important and brilliant scientists in history, was mentioned in recently published court documents related to tycoon Jeffrey Epstein. Epstein, accused of preying on minors, died of apparent suicide in prison in 2019 before facing trial in Manhattan on sex trafficking charges. The documents released Wednesday are related to a lawsuit involving Epstein’s former associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted in 2021 of conspiring with the convicted sex offender and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
The court records include names that were previously redacted, but were ordered declassified by a New York judge effective Jan. 1. They do not contain any evidence or allegations of misconduct related to these individuals, who are simply considered to have been associated with Epstein.
Stephen Hawking and Jeffrey Epstein’s List
Jeffrey Epstein was known for having a wide circle of friends among celebrities, politicians, and other prominent figures. The documents released Wednesday contained a total of more than 70 names, four of which are redacted, including Stephen Hawking. Hawking was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) at the age of 20 and told he would not survive more than two years with the disease. He passed away in 2018 at the age of 76 after publishing groundbreaking studies exploring the mysteries of cosmology and black holes. His incurable condition left him almost completely paralyzed.

What Happened to Stephen Hawking and Jeffrey Epstein?
Stephen Hawking’s appearance in the declassified court documents is linked to Epstein’s efforts to debunk allegations that Hawking participated in an “orgy with minors.” In an email written in 2015, Jeffrey Epstein refers to claims made by Virginia Giuffre, an alleged trafficking victim, implicating Stephen Hawking and former US President Bill Clinton. According to documents released Wednesday, Epstein told Maxwell that he could offer money to Giuffre’s friends to “help prove” that the allegation against the scientist was false.
“You can offer a reward to any of Virginia’s friends, acquaintances, or family members who come forward and help prove that her accusations are false,” the email says. “The strongest is the dinner with Clinton, and the new version in the Virgin Islands that Stephen Hawking participated in an orgy with minors.”
What is known is that Stephen Hawking appeared in several photographs during a Caribbean visit to Epstein’s private island in early 2006, before the mogul was first charged. In the photographs, which came to light in 2015, the scientist can be seen at a barbecue in Little St James, on board a cruise ship, and on a submarine tour on the island’s seabed.
Hawking was among 21 high-profile scientists who attended an Epstein-funded gravity conference at the Ritz-Carlton hotel on the neighboring island of St. Thomas in March 2006. Other scientists who attended the conference took up Epstein’s offer. to visit the now-famous island, where Epstein was known to take minors for sexual activities.
The Pope Appears on Jeffrey Epstein’s List
In news that surprised internationally, within the documents that were declassified there is a mention of a “pope” and a photograph with Ghislaine Maxwell, who was accused of recruiting Jeffrey Epstein’s victims.
She asks: “Besides the bathroom or the massage room in (Epstein’s) Palm Beach house, do you remember any other places in the Palm Beach house where you’ve seen these photos of topless women?”
Victim’s response: “I remember that there were photos everywhere, and the photos that stayed the most in my memory are the ones that – – there was a photo of Ghislaine with the Pope. I wasn’t surprised there were nude photos around. “I just didn’t keep them in my memory.”
Question: “And wasn’t Ghislaine in a topless photo with the Pope, just to be clear?”
Victim’s response: “Correct.”
Although it has been confirmed that a pope was mentioned within the documents surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s list, the name is not provided and no one has been able to confirm which Pontiff took a photo with Ghislaine Maxwell. As we have already noted, the declassified documents indicate that the image exists, but it was not one of the many topless images that were in Epstein’s home in Palm Beach.
