Iconic Hawaiian surfer and actor Tamayo Perry died after being attacked by a shark while surfing in the waves of Goat Island, of the east coast of Oahu. According to what has been reported, the body of the actor was found without a leg and an arm due to the terrible attack.

It was also reported that emergency services were called to Malaekahana beach at around 1:00 p.m. local time.
But the 49-year-old surfer was pronounced dead by paramedics after being brought to shore by jet ski.

Perry was in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, the fourth film in the saga, playing one of the buccaneers. Tamayo Perry also acted in productions such as Lost, Hawaii Five-0, Blue Crush and the Charlie’s Angels sequel, Full Throttle, and also appeared in a Coca-Cola advertisement.
Perry, 49, was one of the best Pipeline surfers in history, the best-known wave in the surfing world but also one of the most dangerous. It’s located in front of Ehukai Beach in the district of Pūpūkea, on Oahu Island in Hawaii.

Tamayo Perry was greatly admired, traveling the world as a free surfer and being part of the Rip Curl team. Perry was also a finalist in the Pipe trials and top 5 in the Teahupoo trials.
He later became a lifeguard and surfed because it was what he enjoyed doing most.
