Reincarnation is not a fantasy, and we are in touch with this process all the time. The greatest evidence is found in the cycles of nature, because for every new dawn there is a sunset, and opposites coexist in harmony. A flower blooms and dies leaving behind the seeds that will bring new life. This is why mankind has applied this phenomenon into their own life.
In Buddhism there is no individual eternal soul, human beings are only the conduits of uninterrupted and accumulated energy of past existences. The laws of Karma are the factors that determine the life of an individual. Whether the next reincarnation of a person is pleasant or not will depend on the actions carried out in this earthly life.

These teachings are in the sixth book of the Mahabharata in the “Bhagavad-Gita” episode where a supreme being, Krishna, counsels a simple human, Arjuna.
“Like a man who has cast off his old clothes puts on others that are new, thus the embodied self casts off old bodies and move on to others that are new. Weapons do not cut it, fire does not burn it, water does not wet it, and wind does not parch it.”
The body is temporary, but the soul is permanent. The complexity of the Buddhist ideology and the concept of reincarnation can be perceived in different ways.

Recurring Dreams

Dreams are a reflection of the unconscious mind and dreaming the same scene can be a symptom of trauma or images of your past life. Some people claim to have experienced events, met certain people or visited places that are separate from their real lives.
–
Spontaneous Memories

There are registered cases where small children had vivid memories of objects or people, and that later on were proved to be accurate. These memories may be the result of childhood fantasies, but the moment we discover their precision is when we realize the connection to our past lives.
–
Strong Intuition

Intuition is wisdom born from balancing the unconscious with the conscious mind. It helps out in specific situations, but sometimes it can be so strong it is almost clairvoyant. In Buddhism there is a space called Nirvana where all the energy and knowledge of the universe flows, and it may be the source of these mysterious gut feelings.
We have felt that strange feeling where you have already experienced something that is actually happening for the first time. It can be triggered by sounds, smells or tastes. Some believe it is a neurological dissonance while some see it as proof of the existence of other dimensions, others claim it is a window that reveals our past lives.
–
Empathy

According to Buddhism, a human has the right to reincarnate seven times to act in a good way. In these lives your soul can be deposited into the body of an animal so you can learn the basic principles of life. Empathetic people show they have lived in many bodies, and so respect and value them.
–
Precognition

Also known as the Third Eye, it is the capacity to have perception beyond the ordinary and of future events. It’s not only visions and physical sensations, but also dreams and emotions. This phenomenon breaks the laws of physics and shows how the spirit can travel through different dimensions.
–
Retrocognition

Is the knowledge of a past event that you couldn’t have learned by normal means. It is a clear proof that you have lived in other bodies as a result of reincarnation.
–
Affinity with Past Cultures

If you are drawn to past cultures, it may mean that you hold a “residue” of your previous life. For example, if you are interested in the World Wars, it might be that you were there during those periods of time and your impulse is to know more about the people that surrounded you.
–
Inexplicable Fears or Phobias

Many of the problems people suffer come from past experiences that never found closure and are manifested as illnesses. Following this logic it may be that these inexplicable fears or phobias come from previous lives.
–
Feeling Like you Don’t Belong

If you feel as if you can’t find your real home and you don’t feel comfortable with the world that surrounds you, it may be that the mystical place where all souls converge is calling you. It is believed that souls that have served their mission have a basic need to return home.
